Numéro Homme 44

For this 44th issue of Numéro Homme focused on Paris, the magazine invited 44 male figures who contribute to the city’s prestige around the world, gathering them into an exclusive portfolio. 

On the list, portraits and interviews of famous sportsmen (Neymar Jr., Kylian Mbappé, Teddy Riner…), talented fashion designers (Jean Paul Gaultier, Olivier Rousteing, Anthony Vaccarello…), exceptional actors (Tahar Rahim, Omar Sy), awarded chefs (Mory Sacko, Yannick Alléno…), major figures of the art world (Philippe Parreno, JR, Guillaume Cerutti, Kamel Mennour…), of design and architecture (Jean Nouvel, Philippe Starck) and successful businessmen (Antoine Arnault, Xavier Niel, Matthieu Pigasse…) ; as well as fashion editorials by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Dominique Issermann, Jacob Sutton, Pieter Hugo and Jackie Nickerson.                           

Also included: a no-holds-barred interview with Chicago artist Theaster Gates, who is building the foundations of a more equitable world in his hometown; a guided tour by Chinese dissident artist Ai Weiwei of his major retrospective in Portugal; an inventory of objects and personal archives of refugees and activists photographed by Guido Mocafico, who reminds us of the importance of the LGBTQI struggle today, ex-stand-up star Stéphane Bak, who intends to shake up the stereotypes of French cinema adulated by the American industry and who has just released his second album, and the Mode series signed by Jackie Nickerson, Sølve Sundsbø, Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Carlotta Manaigo and Charles Fréger.
